Sharon Roberts, Founder & Principal

Sharon Roberts launched SBR with the desire to create a customized, sophisticated and practical brand of product and process optimization in business-to-business and business-to-consumer sales, marketing communications and contact centers.

Throughout her close to 30-year career, Sharon has provided sales and marketing expertise with an emphasis on inside, field sales and customer service, process re-engineering, customer acquisition and retention for dozens of Fortune 500 organizations. Since the launch of SBR in 2001, clients have witnessed over a 25% increase in sales in just three weeks, savings of more than a quarter of a million dollars, measurably improved staff communication skills and fully built inside and field sales divisions ready to “go live” in just 45 days.

Hired exclusively by Oxford Health Plans to build a Medicare Inside Sales operation, Sharon later became responsible for Medicare field sales as well as the divisional replication to individual lines of business, leading departments staffed by more than 200 employees. With extensive experience in vendor management, Sharon has engaged vendors alongside internal resources to curtail costs. She has also designed, developed and managed programs for companies such as AT&T, AVIS, IBM, PricewaterhouseCoopers (formally Pricewaterhouse) and Pitney Bowes while working for Dun & Bradstreet.

Sharon is known in the industry for employing real-world pragmatic techniques to inspire, direct and motivate front-line staff and leadership teams. Her experience in optimizing automation comes from years of viewing systems from the eyes of the user, making changes that impact the interaction for call center agents and field sales teams. Since the inception of SBR, mid-size to multi-million dollar corporations have sought out Sharon’s consultative expertise to grow and exceed business demands. Possessing a keen ability to see through corporate culture and defined objectives, Sharon leads the team that exceeds client expectations time and again.

A New York City native, Sharon is a graduate of Marymount Manhattan College.
